Jason doesn't exactly look trustworthy on the best of days, armed to the teeth and dangerous even without, it's obvious in the way he holds himself, the streak of white in his dark hair a shock that only makes his pale eyes burn brighter. But he grins and nods at Alex, rocking back on his heel as he adjusts a gauntlet.

"If anybody needs an extra gun," he adds, jerking a heavily strapped thigh, "I picked some up along the way."
